Seismic interpretation and mapping
Seismic interpretation is carried out using the latest software tools and advanced attribute sets that allow us to interpret even large surveys with high quality and in a short time. We use technologies such as special filtering, stratigraphic deconvolution, volume blending, volume rendering, optical summation, automatic tracking, spectral decomposition, etc. The work uses all available well data (logs, seismic logs, VSP) and, where appropriate, uses interval velocities for time-depth conversion. Seismic interpretation is strongly interconnected with other disciplines, such as sequence stratigraphy, regional tectonic analysis, and seismic inversion.
AVO analysis and seismic inversion
Pre-stack seismic interpretation is a key element in many of our process chains. It begins with additional processing and linking of seismic data to wells and preliminary AVO analysis. To build a low-frequency model, we have developed a special approach where, along with well data, seismic velocities and deep trends in elastic properties are used. To invert 2D data, we also build an initial homogeneous model in 3D. For inversion, either angular sums or seismograms with kinematic correction are used. The resulting data are the acoustic and shear (elastic) impedances, the resulting Vp/Vs ratio, and, if available, the density. In many cases, conversion to LambdaRho-MuRho space results in better separation into target lithotypes.
3D modeling of hydrocarbon migration paths and filling of traps
We offer a full cycle of geological and reservoir modeling based on well, seismic and production data, in accordance with the required level of detail. In addition to the standard modeling approach, our models can include the results of special data interpretation (for example, borehole electrofacies classification and image binarization) and 3D seismic inversion interpretation (probability cube of lithology, porosity, fluid saturation). More reliable results can be obtained by interpolating well data in 3D using seismic properties as trends with optimal specific gravity. Geological and dynamic modeling results are commonly used in our asset assessment projects (reserve development project, reserve assessment and certification) and fault conductivity assessment projects.
